Corona Virus – The situation around the country is fluid. In Savannah and on Tybee Island there no reported cases of writing this report. The president has recommended no unnecessary travel, eating out in bars and restaurants or gathering in groups of more than 10. The term social distancing is now commonly heard – that is keeping a distance of 6 more feet apart. Grocery stores are quickly selling out of staples and common items. The thought is as weather warms on the coast conditions will be less favorable for the virus. The St. Patrick’s day parade and festivities have been cancelled in Savannah. The thought of city leaders is to err on the side of caution. No doubt a good call. The duration of this virus is unknown. The president has said it could be July/August till this is over. Hopefully, life for all will be back to normal as soon as possible. Thank the Lord for this great country and all of our leaders! On one charter a client said whatever it is – things will change whether its a tough or favorable situation. Things will change. For those wondering about the cancellation policy. There will be no cancellation fee for duration of this virus. If you come to Savannah please make sure your hotel reservations are good. Check with your airline if flying. If there is a favorite restaurant you’re planning on eating at probably a good idea to call to make sure everything is good. From what I hearing is most bars and restaurants are open. Businesses are closing an hour earlier for cleaning. If we fish I hope we have a good one!
Fish On!
Thank you very much!
